Junior Basketball League All-Star Game #2

GAME #1

Team #1/East All-Stars Vs Team #2/West All-Stars

The East Red & Black All-Stars beat the West White & Light Blue All-Stars by the score of 56 -46. East All-Star Mike McCall captured the game’s MVP award by dropping 15 points 4 assists 8 rebounds 4 steals, 1 Blocked shots & (1) 3-Pt Bucket! Teammates Tishawn Knight gained the Sportsmanship award, added 14 points 2 assists 6 rebounds & 2 steals. Cliqujion Rock stole the Defensive Player Award with 10 points 2 assists 5 steals & 2 Blocked shots in the win! The West All-Stars were led by Chris Rodriguez who dropped 17 points 3 assists 9 rebounds 3 steals & 3 Blocked Shots. Teammate Terrance Hines added 10 points 2 assists 6 rebounds & 1 steal in the loss.

The West Red & White All-Stars beat the East Light Blue & White All-Stars by the score of 78 – 73. West All-Star Jallah “The Chocolate Boy Wonder” Tarver captured the game’s MVP award by dropping 20 points 7 assists 20 rebounds 5 steals 1 Blocked shot & (1) 3-Pt Bucket! Teammate Kumar “Showboat” Araujo gained the Sportsmanship Award and also added 20 points 7 assists 14 rebounds 3 steals 1 Blocked shot & (2) 3-Pt Buckets. Anthony “Black Magic” Richardson stole the Defensive Player Award with 11 points 3 assists 15 rebounds 6 steals 2 Blocked shots (1) 3-Pt Bucket in the win! The East All-Stars were led by Tony “AI” Lee who dropped 18 points 4 assists 4 steals & (4) 3-Pt Buckets. Teammate Danny “Durant” Chester added 17 points 2 assists 14 rebounds 2 steals & 2 Blocked shots in the loss.

The Thomas Sports Group, Inc. 3rd Annual Flag-football League Super-bowl between the Saints Vs Cardinals

Game #1 FLAG-FOOTBALL PLAY-OFFS!

1st Place Team #1-Saints Vs 3rd Place Team #4-Cardinals

The Cardinals beat the Saints by the score of 42 – 30 to win the 3rd Annual Thomas Sports Group, Inc. Flag-football Super bowl! The Cardinals got off to 18 – 0 start over the Saints, but the Saints came from behind and eventually tied the game going into the fourth quarter 30 – 30. The Saints QB Ozire Mitchell had an off game throwing (5) five interceptions! But he made up for it by rushing for 100 yards and (3) three touchdowns, while only throwing for (1) one. This day belonged to Super Bowl MVP Jallah Tarver, who rushed for 100 yards, (3) three touchdowns, caught 4 passes for 70 yards & (2) two touchdowns and put the icing on the cake by completing 7 out of 10 passes for 160 yards and (1) one touchdown pass! Teammate Herman Seise caught 5 passes for 105 yards and added another 100 special team yards. Teammate and “Play-off MVP QB Kwame “Redwine” Jarvis throw for (3) three touchdowns in the victory!

The Last game of the season will be the All-Star Game on Saturday August 7th 2010 at 1pm East All-Stars will feature (5) five players from the Cardinals & (5) five players from the Giants. West All-Stars will feature (5) players from the Saints & (5) five players from the Raiders.

ALL-STAR PLAYERS ROSTERS WILL BE ANNOUNCED NEXT WEEK!
